Motorcamping The Big Oaks

Motorcamping The Big Oaks is a real Motorcamping. The campsite is located in Ruinerwold, a village in the Dutch province of Drenthe, belonging to the municipality of De Wolden. Ruinerwold is centrally located in relation to the provinces of Drenthe, Friesland and Overijssel.

The central location guarantees beautiful motorcycle rides. From The Big Oaks you can make beautiful trips through the Drents/Friese Wold, the Weerribben/Giethoorn or the Sallandse Heuvelrug. We are only a twenty minute drive from the TT circuit in Assen. And if you can't or don't want to ride a motorcycle, there is a lot of nature here for beautiful walks.

The Big Oaks has two spacious fields. You can camp here with your own tent. There are also a number of log cabins and possibly a tent with beds ready for you. In the farm we still have a B&B room. As for sleeping, we are happy to think along with you. In addition, we have a cozy living room and a large canopy outside where you can stay. If the weather is a bit less, we turn on the wood stove.

After a long motorcycle ride, you don't want to take care of your own food. The Big Oaks has a kitchen where we prepare a buffet as a dish of the day for you or we provide a barbecue. Breakfast is included in the price for an overnight stay. This also applies to the use of the sanitary facilities.

Finally. One thing is paramount at The Big Oaks and that is the riders, the motorcycles and the associated conviviality. You can discuss everything with us and we will try to find a solution.
